Break the silence

There is still no treatment that can reverse hearing loss caused by noise. It can, however, be effectively managed with hearing aids, and an ENT follow-up rules out other causes of hearing loss.

Depending on the type of hearing loss and the noise exposure involved, some workers are eligible for compensation from the CNESST. See the CNESST page on noise exposure (in French), or speak with your specialist.
